Josie - 5 months!

I took some quick photos of little Josie a few weeks ago before heading off to ACL Fest...and yes, Josie came along with us to check out some awesome music!! She was such a trooper! Man, she's growing so fast... even in just these few weeks since these photos were taken... I feel like it's already time for another photo shoot! ok, maybe not... :) I love this baby girl!! Taylor!

I love babies! Their sweet faces, cute little sounds, little wrinkles, tiny toes and fingers... Taylor was no exception to all those things! I had the pleasure of photographing little Taylor yesterday. Vanessa actually photographed Kristi&Cole's wedding, and was going to photograph Taylor's newborn photos as well. But Vanessa caught a sore throat this weekend and didn't want the baby to get sick. So I had the privilege of photographing this sweet baby girl. Taylor was such a great little model! She was so sweet the whole time, and I think the clicking of the camera actually soothed her. :) Thanks, Kristi and Cole, for letting me photograph your beautiful daughter during such a special stage of her life! And congratulations again!

Weekend with the kiddos!

Vanessa had an engagement session in NY this past weekend, so I watched the kiddos while her and her husband took a little mini-vacation for the weekend.  One of the many blessings from my job is that we work out of Vanessa's home, so I've grown really close to her family over the years.  When I first started working with Vanessa, Memo was only 2 years old...now he's 4 1/2!!  And of course, now we have little Sol!!  Crazy...  I have loved becoming a part of their family...  Not too many things can top Memo's hugs and kisses, or Sol's cute smile and infectious laugh...

Two kids can sure be a handful, but Mika (my dog) and I had fun with Memo and Sol this weekend, and I think they had fun, too.  :)  

I was surprised the kids got such a kick out of Mika...so I tried to snag a few pics of them playing at the house.

Mika's ONE trick is "Drop it"...she'll drop her toy so you can throw it...  Well, Memo said "Drop it" about 100 times this weekend, but Mika just wouldn't listen to him... poor Memo...  here he is telling her to "drop it"...

Don't worry...even though Mika wouldn't drop her toy, Memo would just yank it out of her mouth so he could throw it.  :)

We went to the new Dinosaur exhibit at the Zilker Botanical Gardens on Saturday.  Here's Memo looking super-cute with the Dinosaur map.

PORTRAIT EXTRAVAGANZA!!!

Laura&Alex!

I traveled to San Antonio this past weekend for Laura&Alex's wedding. It was nice to get a little change of scenery, and Laura&Alex picked the perfect place for their intimate ceremony - Crumpet's Restaurant & Bakery. It was a beautiful day...Laura looked amazing, Alex looked very handsome, and they were surrounded by their closest family and friends. Thank you for having me along for such a special day!
